Riley Elf Mk111

MR D'Arcys are offering for sale, a very nice Riley Elf Mk3 in Mexico brown, with red interior. This little Elf was registered in UK on 1st Jan 1969. It spent some years in NI, and was eventually ended up here in 2011, and is still registered to the same owner. It has had a very interesting journey, as it was restored in NI in 2000, where the owner fitted a 1275 metro engine, sport exhaust, and 10 inch minilite wheels. The current owner decided to bring it back to original spec, and spent 2 years sourcing the parts, which included the interior and exterior finishes.The engine received an overhaul and tuning, which stands to it today, as it drives and sounds nice and sporty with the 1275. There is an ocean of documentation with the car, and has a nice box of spare parts that come with it. The interior has been totally restored to a very fine level, with new walnut dashboard, seats, and nice period picnic baskets under the back seat. Being the subject of a much older restoration, it is now beginning to show its need for some TLC. There are some rust bubbling on the bottoms of the doors, but this is reflected in the price of the car.It is not a restoration project by any means, but its now time for the new owner to spend some time in bringing it back to its former glory. It has recently had a re-commissioning by ourselves, and starts,drives, and runs very nicely indeed. A rare one to have survived, and growing in rarity and value. Could definitely be used for the summer season, and have works completed over the winter. Viewing is by appointment, and we are open Monday to Saturday. Delivery can be arranged if required.
